On November 15th, our international visitors from Timor-Leste had the amazing opportunity to visit Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School! They got to meet and engage with a group of International Baccalaureate students.
The visitors from Timor-Leste's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation had the chance to share insights about their work and foreign policy priorities back home. The students at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School impressed us with their intelligent questions and curiosity. These young minds are destined to make a significant impact in the world!
The session ended with a fantastic cultural exchange, as the international visitors had the opportunity to ask the students about their coursework, student life, and everything else they were curious about. It was heartwarming to see the students and visitors taking the initiative to approach each other and continue the conversation even after the official meeting ended. They were so engaged and eager to learn!
We are very thankful to Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School and Raleigh NC Chapter, The Links Incorporated for hosting this incredible program. Thank you for fostering such meaningful connections and promoting cultural understanding.
